Impetus Points Values - 5th September 2008.
The Impetus Rule set has points for units in the army lists but no general system to calculate unit points outside the army lists given. There is a forum for these rules which now has the official points system on it as it is today. The points system is provisional at this time. The documents available through this page can be used in the club competition. In cases of differences, please use the points attributed to the unit in the army list (if you are using a provided army list.
The points for a unit are calculated by adding up the factors in the following formula using the points assigned to each classification. You need to download the Points system (use the button below). You may benefit from the quick calculator (Microsoft Excel) when making up a number of units which can be put to an army list. This can also be downloaded using the button below. This calculator has some usage notes with it. This is because the programme is very simple and not robust (it was produced quickly). The calculator is constructed to allow an entire army to be assessed for points total.

It is expected that as the rules develop the official points system will be finalised then made public. At that stage this page will be withdrawn. In the meantime, this will be kept up to date as further information is available.
