Here are a some recent shots taken of club games and other pictures of note.  I try to get a reasonable number of everyone's games featured.  I bet I have something from everyone in the Society in this collection somewhere.  Have a browse.

Double click on the image opens a new window for the picture.  Return to this page using the back arrow on the normal toolbar.  A little toolbar is presented at top left of the image when the new window opens.  You can print, save etc. from that if you want.  Place the pointer in that part of the picture if it isn't visible at the time.

Gorgeous English! See them at Valhalla 08

Friday Nights are getting crowded.

Lawrence fixes Russian Command problems with a pair of scissors while on the next table Paul gleefully watches as Mark's units advance to the rear.

25mm ACW. Great to see this stuff back in vogue! MicK won! His bionic arm seems to have cured his dice luck problem.

Unions ready to get beaten!

Amazingly, these are 15mm. Nice Marlb game from Alan and Barry

MOre 15mm Marlb.

Fantasy game with tanks and US aircraft (in bits having crashed)

Napoleonic games a-plenty recently! Need an article for dispatches folks

Nice naval stuff in evidence again.

I love this one. Just look at those signals.

FoG units on the move again

Fantasy game. Notice chuffing-great tank in the background

So away the lads on this one. Need an article to let us know what happened. Too many games for me to keep track of and still have a game myself!

Desparately dangerous combination of Russians and Brits advancing into position.

So this is a very strong force of Brit and KGL cavalry. Yes, the did beat my poor little Frenchies.

Poles advancing

FoG formations get up-close and personal. Need a battle report forlks.

FoG again. You will see demos of ancients at Valhalla.

The battle line draws near.

OK so my French were desparately trying the stem the tide of Russians and Brits. Nope, didn't work.

Shooting at the blighters as they pour over the hill.

Digby's German allies seemed to be the only part of the French Army doing anything useful at the close.

More German Allies going forward.

Yes, this really is Russian Grenadiers moving into ex-Royalist French. Figures ran short don't you know.

Poles again

ACW artillery laying down fire.

SF game. An asteroid and a beacon thingy. I need to be educated on this I think.

I loved this little space ship. Looked like a demented pigeon.

25mm British Brigade (1706)

Nice Medieavals!

Why not make a film on this?

The skellies won. Nice budgie in the foreground

This is the documentary proof that Gordon can roll double six!

FoG in 1/300th. Good game

More on FoG

3-table ACW game set on Friday. looked like some pretty tough games.

88s waiting for the Crusaders to get close

Lambs to the slaughter. Not a bit of cover anywhere, broad daylight and the 88s are waiting.

1848 US/Mexicans again. Another incredibly hard fought game.

Dave's WWII airplanes. Flying fortresses this time.

Mexys moving up.

Fortresses making progress

20mm WWII in urban fighting. (FoW I think).

Better view of the village. Check out the isolated groups fighting.

OK so the got into the house.

Getting to close quarters now.

Another view of the 88s. They survived the art bombardment and were soon back in full operation.

French..What say!

Steve's dodgy fantasy game. I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing...it showed!

More of Steve's fantasy game. Why do they give these tiny female figures huge swords?

Archer! Hopeless! Did nothing all game.

This is included to save you lot straining your eyes with the previous shots.

The attack on troy commences. Siege engines moving up. Sunday Game. Warhammer rules + House amendments

The American battle line. Nice figs

It all started so well for the Myceneans. even the Horse was going for it.

Ajax's force is ready to engage. I daren't show the Trojans at this stage as they were in chaos.

Mycenaens using combined arms attacks! Powerful but not terribly realistic je crois

Close up of Ajax.

25 years old these chariots. I wish I could say the same of their owner who might have been there!

OK so the Trojans decided to defend troy by attacking! Here they are formed ready to go. Notice how few there are.

Chariots seen from the Greek side.

This tower was manned by Mermadons for goodness sake. Serious problems for the Trojans if that ever gets into position.

US line still in position

Mycenean Lt Chars bravely attack massed Trojan archers on a hill. Desparately unlucky. They don't break them and then the slow grind to destruction

Very large forcs of trojans finally show up on Mycenean right flank.

Ah! The US wagons start to move forward. Sadly, they quickly got isolated at the front and then were nabbed by the Mexies

I can't explain why but I am usually very luck with Mexicans. Here again, they all get into position and start the attack.

Getting ready to mop up surviving crusaders.

The mop up force hardly needed the 88s!

You have to admit, the camo is very natty

Some Ogres take on a Giant. Funny how people do self-portraits!

MOving into position. An often over-looked difficult bit!

ACW supported battery. Tough to shift I recall

Elephants moving in (DBM)

So the Confederate defence line is formed - they were supposed to attack!

Aerial view

Union cavalry (Allan's) pour through the huge gap in the line.

The gap was really huge!

Italian Wars (Big Sunday Game) - Rules were so fast we got 2 games in!

Fog of war? No, bad photograph!

Stretch that ruler!

Russian columns start the attack in the Crimea (Grand Manner?)

Guess what's waiting for the Russians

Ouch-time! Russians start to come under fire frim the Line

Artillery support for the Russian attacks - not that it'll do much good.

Brits moving into position to stop the remaining Russian attacks (there were 5!)

Some nice Jannisaries

The Cantons's pike will advance.
